About CYG

In 1992 I attended a one-day seminar entitled something like “How To Manage Stress In the Workplace.” Sometime during the afternoon I had an epiphany wherein I realized that my stress was not caused by all those people out there, something I devoutly believed up until that moment. I realized that it was my reaction to their behavior that caused my stress and that I had the choice to react differently.

In other words, instead of a knee-jerk reaction, I had the choice of actually engaging my brain and consciously choosing how to handle the situation. Ideally, that would result in a win-win situation, but if not, at least I was taking responsibility for how things transpired.

Taking responsibility gave me back the control I didn’t believe I had over situations. Since that moment, I have spent a great deal of time and money searching for answers to the many questions that arose. I believe by sharing that experience I can help others to find some of their own answers and learn from their experiences, as well. It’s all about what Abraham calls co-creation and it’s what we’re here for.

I look forward to co-creating with you.

Namaste,

John
